My baby girl turned one year old

   
Time travel so fast. My baby girl turned one year old last Saturday. We celebrated with our closest friends and was held in our home. Before the party, I was so stress that I could sleep two night in a row. I always think if the food will be enough for the guests, or is it our apartment is too small to accommodate all the guests and many more to think about. But now the party was over and it was a blast.

Everything went perfect, the foods are delicious, the guests are happy so all in all it was a great party to remember. I could believe my baby girl is no longer a baby, instead she is a child. I still breast feed her and sometimes I felt wrong to do it since she is bigger now. I have planned already to stop breast feed her after her first birthday but I wait until next week because I would like to ask the midwife if they can recommend a healthy bottle milk.

We are getting better

   
Last Monday I was sick until Thursday, it was my poor husband who took care of me plus he need to look after Camilla too. I am so thankful for him for doing his best to look after me and Camilla. I know it must be a stressful for him since he is not use to this kind of job. He needs to stay at home and took care of us, that´s why he was absent couple of days at work. It was not good because it means it decrease his salary. I was better last Thursday so I told him to go to work. But then after two or three days he got fever, so he stayed at home and rest, oh before that, Camilla got sick too due to her teething. 

It was difficult days for all us, specially for our little one, she doesn´t eat well, she is depending on breast milk. It is not healthy but I can´t force her to eat, I have try many times but I get failed. For now, we are much better than the other days, the husband went back to work, and for me I am much better except coughing and Camilla does too. She eats small portion which is better than nothing. So I hope we will be totally healthy the coming days, specially Camilla´s birthday is a week away from now. 



       

Keeping Things Organized

We wanted to be organized in almost everything, may it be inside the house, our schedule, work and in our family but it will only happen if everything is planned accordingly. In order to get organized, it have to start in yourself first. Know your priorities, forget what's not important and focus on the things that matter to you the most. Being organized takes a lot of time and it won't happen overnight.

Thee most important thing to do is to write down all the things that you need to finish on a certain day like cleaning the children's bedroom, rearranging the library room and doing the laundry. Next is to have a list. What to do during weekdays and what to finish during weekends. Is it going to be a family day or grocery shopping day? When you write it down in a paper, it might get lost so you have to start all over again. Good thing there is vision board online, Clipix and will help you get organized in no time. You may download this as an application in your iPhone or put it in your social networking profiles.

 

 

This is a sample of my clipboard. I keep those food I want to cook in clipix clipboard so that I can remember which one did I cooked already and which are not. You can put everything there with no limit. You can also share it friends if you want. I will also put all the things I need to buy in my next grocery shopping so I won't forget them and the articles I need to read to keep me updated.

My Birthday

    Few days ago was my birthday, like I said in my other post, I decided to celebrate my birthday private. So how it goes with my day birth. First we ate brunch at my favorite restaurant ( Ritz Restaurant which is located in the center city of Gothenburg ). They serve appetizer to dessert.  We lift the restaurant both full of their delicious food. Camilla has also tasted different kind of foods so probably she is full too, because the time we put her on her stroller she fall asleep after a couple of minutes.

Our next stop, was at the mall, to find another gift for me. My husband let me decided what I want as a gift from him. And I decided to get a GUESS BAG for myself. I had few bags but I never had this brand, so I thought of having it for a change. Haha. After husband paid the bag, we went shopping for Camilla´s birthday stuff and then went to the bicycle shop to change the tiles of Camilla´s stroller.

It sounds not a busy day, but oh it was. We came home around 4 in the afternoon, and relax together in the living room, watching Camilla playing. That ´s what we called " quality time " And when it´s dark outside, husband and I made my birthday cake while Camilla was sleeping and snoring. Haha. And we ate the cake around 9 in the evening, while having a good time together. It was a great birthday. I enjoyed it a lot.

Enchanted award from Rona

Camilla just fall asleep after feeding her and that´s why I have time to open my blog. I open my blogspot blog and I saw one comment on my recent post. I wasn´t expected to get a comment from Rona, I just met her recently through her blog. She is designing blogs, and I asked her if she can design my blog and lucky me she say yes- maybe right now, she is working on my blog theme, who knows. Actually, I am really excited to see my new blog make over and it will gives me a lot of energy to blog again. Anyway, Rona is sharing her Enchanted award to me, I was shock because she remembers me and share the award to me. And I am very thankful to her and appreciate for remembering me. Let me share a little bit about me.

My real name is Sarah, but I do not really like my name so I created my own name Shy, so most of my personal friends call me Shy and to my online friends they have known me as Shy. But my family, never know the name Shy, they always call me Sarah. I am the shortest girl on earth. Haha. Kidding. But I am kind of since I am only 4´7, yes you read it right. And I feel like a dwarf since people here in Sweden are very tall ( actually they are one of the tallest people in the world ) I haven´t mentioned that my husband is 6´5 oh yes he so tall and I´m so short. But we are perfect combination. What else about me? Thinking. Oh yes, my shoe size is 33 and living here made my feet unhappy because there is no shoes/heels that can fits me. Except shoes from the children section. It´s not easy to be cute, I mean petite, haha. Enough about me, maybe you get bored reading.

First time in Starbucks

   
Way back in Philippines, I never drink strong coffee, I always prepare the coffee powder in sachet because I control how much coffee I put on my coffee mug. And then everything changed when I migrated here in Sweden, I started drinking different kind of coffee, I even try the strong brew coffee. When I first time tasted it, I was dizzy and felt very bad. Haha. 

I am not coffee lover back in Philippines, that´s why I never visited some coffee shops like for example Starbucks. And it happened here Sweden my first visit in Starbucks, and ordered coffee. I love it. And for sure, I´m gonna go back there and it will be our hang out place with my friends who love coffee like fore example Jenny who is a blogger too like me. 

Actually, we just gone to Starbucks earlier, just hanging out and drinking our coffee.. We stayed at Starbucks for more than an hour, and just talked and enjoy our coffee. Anyway, I thought it will be great if I took photo for my first visit in Starbucks coffee shop and with my first coffee.


       

Pink Friday: Camilla´s Cap

   
Whew, it´s already Saturday night here but I just start writing my entry for " Pink Friday " but anyway, it´s better late than never, they say. Haha. It took me few minutes to find for my entry today and since Camilla´s birthday is coming I thought of looking at her album and this is what I found ( refer to the photo above ) I took beautiful photo right? The cap is mine but it´s fits her too. And it made me play with my phone because it´s fun to take photo of my little angel who will have her first birthday soon. 

This month and few months coming are special for us because, this month it is our wedding anniversary, and for February it´s my birthday and on March it´s Camilla´s first birthday. I am planning to host a giveaway but it is not final yet. I need budget haha. I haven´t earn this month and passed months because I was inactive in blogging but not it seems I am back on track, actually I bought two domain names yesterday. I am excited to start with my new blogs ( fashion and a mom blogs ) but I need to wait until it will be in WordPress blog. Let see what will happen.

This blog will have it own domain and will be hosted blog

   
This morning, I was sitting down in front of my laptop and thinking hard about deleting and adding new blogs. I have six blogs and it gives me hard time to update of them though some of them have their own niche which is easy for me to update but still I didn´t update them. So I came to conclusion to delete some of my blogs and buy a new domain and to make it easy for me to update them if they have a proper niche ( some of my blogs have their own niche but not all of them. 

I have already buy two domains ( Bloggistamomma and Shy´s Mode ) and I am planning them to be hosted. I just rename my 3 and a half years old blog " A Journey For Life " to " Bloggista Momma " I just can´t delete this blog since this is my very first blog. It has also a high rank of 3 but I thought it much better if it has it own name. And I thought it will be wasted if I delete this blog so instead I buy it own domain and let it be a hosted blog. Wonderful idea I got right? haha. The passed days, I was been reading fashion blogs and it´s inspired me to make my own fashion blog. My fashion blog will not only contains about fashion, it will also contain product review that I used, beauty tips and many more as long as it will be related to fashion niche. And when I got budget, I let these blog to have their own blog make over so they will be beautiful like the own. Haha.

Let see if the new domains I bought wills survive since boredom of blogging is occupying me right now. Oh, maybe you get bored reading this post, I better stop now. See you around guys.


       

It´s snowing for the firs time

   
It was three days ago when it was snowing the first time this month. It seems that, we will have a mild winter this year compares last year. Last year of November have started to snow but this year is much late. I am a bit happy and sad about it. Sad because I would love to experience the snow outside, play with it with my baby, happy because it means it will not so cold.

When I was out yesterday for some errands, it feels not cold at all, I can take away my winter jacket without freezing. Christmas is soon now, and I miss my family in Philippines. I hope  next Christmas I can spend it with them.


       

Pump that I love

This is the last month of 2011 and month of Christmas. I am sure everyone is busy finding gifts to their love ones, decorating Christmas decor to their home ( for us, we decided to put Christmas tree next year ) and preparing for the cold weather. Like I posted here before, my husband has already a gift for me this coming Christmas, but I haven´t found any gift for him yet.

Btw, during December month here in Sweden, most of the people are attending different kind of parties. I do attend different kind of parties such as birthday parties. And this month, I have already attended several parties, and soon I will be attending another party which is a " Glamour Party " where the aim is to wear clothes that has glitters. This is my first time to attend this kind of party. I am really curious about the event.

I have been roaming around the mall to find clothes that I am going to where for the event. And for the shoes, I found these two pair of pump online which maybe I am going to purchase. I so love the style of these pump, what you think?

I was surprised and very excited

I have been living together with my husband for almost five years. I have learned when he gave me gift, it always not wrapped in a special bag wrapper, instead we buy it together haha. I don´t mind at all, the important is, he always made me very special through giving me gifts that I wanted. Several days ago, he asked me if I want to receive a special gift during this coming Christmas or on my birthday, I told him I would love to receive gift during my birthday, that´s that. End of the gift conversation.

Last weekend, he went out to done his hair cut. And when he came home, he suddenly told me that he was walking a long time to make my gift wrapped. And I was like, I thought you will gave the special gift on my birthday. And that´s it. I was very surprised because like I said, I used to received gifts from him unwrapped but this time, first time ever it will be wrapped haha. The gift is somewhere in our apartment and I don't have a plan to find it. I just wants to have it on Christmas day.

I am really really curious what will be the gift. I have been bagging my husband about what is the gift and he never told me. I even asked for a clue but he never gave me. He just said, wait until Christmas. I gave up to knowing what is the gift. I cannot wait to open it during Christmas day. Anyway, there are 25 days to go before Christmas, I will post here what will be the gif okay guys. See you around!!!

Lunch meeting with my girlfriends

How is everybody? Ask for me, I am still lazy blogging. I so lazy updating my blogs for weeks. What happened to me ( sad sign ) maybe I need to be away from blogging to get back the energy again to blog? What you suggest guys? Anyway, I´ll be meeting my girlfriends at the Filipino Restaurant here in Gothenburg ( I will blog about the Filipino Restaurant soon, I just need to take some photo to make the post more exciting right ) we will have our lunch there, and after that, no schdule. Maybe we will just hang around the mall and just do the chikahan about anything. I will share some photos later, see yah!

Yahooo! Finally...

Yay!! You are not lost!!! It just I got a new theme and a blog title. I changed the title of my blog from " A Journey Of Life " to " Blogista Momma " I thought it fits the new title of my blog as of my new role. I have been longing for months to get new theme for this blog. When I own domain blogs, I left behind this blog and never update it even though it has a high page rank. But then I realized it will be waste of time if I lose this blog since this is my very first and old blog. So to get back my eager to update this blog, I planned to make renewed it, from title to theme so it will completely look brand new. And yes, I made it. This blog looks very new specially the theme.

It was not impossible with the help of my co-blogger and at the same time designer for blogspot Chie. I got this theme very cheap than normal charge for theme. I thank Chie for making this blog looks new and now I have a lot of energy to update this blog though this post should have posted yesterday haha. I was so hand full with the house hold and my baby that I wasnt able to come finished this post.

My comfy shoes

I was inactive in my blogs for the past days since I cannot leave my baby alone playing in the living room because she´s moving a lot now and I need to watch her every time. And also she always cry when she can´t see me. Our computer is place in our bedroom while my baby stays in the living room so I can´t be in front of the computer. I have a laptop which place in the living room but every time I use it I can´t blog anything. I wish for a bigger laptop. Actually an Macbook air apple laptop is my wish to have but I do not know when I can have it since it is extremely expensive, as for now we cant afford since there are many things to buy first than my leisure thing.

I woke up 12 midnight and I cant sleep anymore, and I have been in front of the computer for an hour before I able to update this blog. Like I said, I am busy being with my baby and also lazy to blog. I just felt nothing to blog or maybe I just lazy. Anyway, I bought this pair of shoes several days ago. I expected to return it because I thought it will not feel comfy because it has the high heel and since I always go out with a baby cart, I thought it will hurt my feet. But I was completely surprised because I have tried to walked with this pair of shoes and they are so comfortable and it is very light weight that it feels that I do not wear any shoes at all. I so love this pair of shoes.

I wear it as my every shoes because it is good for the weather ( almost winter weather now ) it made my feet warm. It has a medium high heels and it made me tall a bit haha besides it so comfy. This is added to my favorite pair of shoes though I don't have much like Emelda Marcos. Here are the photos of me wearing my favorite brown pair of shoes and I matched it with brown jacket from BIKBOK. My husband told me that day, that he liked my outfit.

New theme for this blog soon

Pardon me for not updating this blog. The past days, was a lazy days to blogs instead I was with my family which is a good excuse to be away from my blog right? Anyway, while I was blog hopping, I saw few blogs that have the same theme that I used in this blog. Seeing them made me eager to change the theme of this blog. And my co-blogger is working on my new theme and I just hope it will finish and install soon so I will inspires to blog haha. I am really excited for the new theme of this blog and I hope it will last long. I need to stop writing now and more blog hopping since this blog needs more comments and exposure.

It was the first time

I was in the kitchen preparing Camilla´s dinner when I heard our bell door rang. My husband was the one who open the door and I went in front of the door because I was curious who was the visitors. And I saw this two kids with their costumes Halloween. My husband asked me if I have some candies to give to the kids. I immediately checked my bag and I found one small toblerone and gave it to them and ask if it okay if I take photo of them. Here was their post for me.

It was the very first time that someone knock on our door during Halloween. Next Halloween I make sure I have a chocolate on our table in case they will come back haha. Anyway, the kids on the photo, were also their first time to do this activity. They are the grandsons of our neighbor who lives in first floor of the apartment and we live at the fourth floor.

24 movie marathon

The past days, I wasn´t into blogging. Since I was not in the mood of updating my blogs, I started to watch the 24 DVD that I received last Christmas from my husband. I was guilty for not watching it the past months, only little guilty because I am became a mom the past months. I just don't wanna miss every single minutes with my first baby. The first months, I still can´t believe that I am a mom already, I was so overwhelmed with the happiness I felt when my baby came into our life ( my husband has the same feeling likes I have ) who can blame us right?

It took me months before I used to be being a mom, and I´m loving it so much that every time I see my baby, I don´t feel anything except happiness in my heart. Now that I and my baby have adjusted with out new life, it is easier for both of us. My life is back to the normal routine, and my new rule as a mother is fantastic. One thing I can say, I am complete. Some times, when I felt sad, I just look at my baby and I feel so happy and blessed to have such a baby and also my husband who is always there to wipe my tears every time I cry. These two persons are the one who made my life complete. Nah, I should stop now, I am became so emotional haha.

Anyway, it has been three executive days, that I have been watching the 24 DVD and I so love it. The show made me not stop to watch every season because it so exciting. I so like Jack Bauer. My husband some times watch with me, and he like the show too.

I love coffee

A week from now, it will be officially winter season. And it will be below zero degrees Celsius again. My boots and winter are already in the closet and ready to wear. Time to wear heavy clothes again. I am so sensitive when it comes to cold weather, even it is still fall season, I already feel cold every time I do not have any jacket on me even though indoors. I am just grateful that I can make a coffee in just a minutes. Happy Winter Season everyone!
